Taking the original composition of the found image and placing my apple in with it I have altered the colour of the foliage using the same technique as with 'Adam and Eve' but made it black and white with the hope that it will push the background to the background and bring the girl and the apple to the foreground. I feel this does have the desired effect but if i was to complicate the drawing of the girl this would OVER complicate the overall piece. I dont feel the background is a huge success if I am to change the style of the drawing. I dont think the girl is drawn well and I definitely need to experiment with drawing style.
