A lot of my work at the moment seems to be appealing to the blind and becomes powerful through texture. I am going to try and create a piece on a larger scale. I feel this will make my work more extreme. Maybe fill a dustbin full of drawings of itself. Separate drawing of dustbins into different dustbins like one would recycle. My work needs to have a larger visual impact.
I am now a second year Ilustration student at AUCB. This blog is to record my progress and 'Document Everything.' I intend to record my thoughts on projects and share my influences and inspiration.

On an attempt to recreate Ran Hwang's work in a bin format I started to pin pins into the page and then half way through I realised that in fact the dots itself were creating an image. It is very difficult to show in a 2D format but this is the best I can get it in a black and white scan. It has produced a beautiful image. I also like the fact that the needle has gone through multiple pages and so the image is actually 6 pages deep but fading with each images. There are many ways I could display this. Maybe on top of each other like in a flower press or something.
